  3. CFS = Patients meeting CDC criteria for chronic fatigue syndrome, otherwise healthy
  4. Fatigue = Referred patients with non-specific fatigue, CFS status unknown, otherwise healthy
  5. Depression = Physician referred DSM-IV criteria for depression, otherwise healthy.
