Rhythmic grouped discharges recorded 3410 μm from zero in the thalamic Vim. These discharges were time locked with the contralateral peripheral tremor. The top trace was recorded from the left thalamic Vim nucleus, and electromyographic recordings (from the second to the fifth traces) were from the right upper extremity.
