The images show a significant change in the clot microstucture characteristics, where at point A the blood clot was denser with more branching points corresponding to a d f value of 1.71. At point B, although the clot seems to have thicker fibre width it was more porous and corresponded to a lower d f value of 1.66. The scale bar is similar and applies to both images.
