From: Enterprise stent for the treatment of symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis: an initial experience of 44 patients

A 41-year-old man with a severe stenosis of the M1 segment of the left middle cerebral artery (MCA) was referred for evaluation of stroke. Diagnostic cerebral angiography confirmed a preocclusive (>80 %) stenosis of the left MCA a. The patient underwent percutaneous transluminal angioplasty and Enterprise stent placement. The subtracted image demonstrates near 30 % postprocedural residual stenosis b. The DynaCT scan shows the morphology of the stent after placement c.
