Both rCBF and rCBV in the lacunar/subcortical group were significantly lower at admission (*, P < 0.01 for rCBF and P < 0.05 for rCBV) and remained lower at 24 h (no significance) than the cortical group. rCBF and rCBV were higher but not significant in the lacunar/subcortical group at day 7 compared to the cortical group. At month 3, there was no significant rCBF and rCBV difference between the two groups
