  1. *The comparison between the rt-PA and no rt-PA groups. Continuous variables were expressed as mean ± standard deviation (SD). Categorical variables were expressed as frequencies and percentages. Continuous variables were compared using Student t-test. Categorical variables were compared using chi-square test or Fisher’s exact test. The distributions of continuous variables were determined using the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test, while Mann–Whitney two-sample test was applied in case of non-normal distributions
