During the 180-day post-injury period, 39 and 32% of the patients in the recovery group manifested EDoC in motor and communication skills, respectively. Over time, the cumulative EDoC in the communication subscale increased and exceeded the motor subscale at 284 days post-injury. At 2 years post-injury, 88 and 93% of patients in the recovery group manifested EDoC in motor and communication skills, respectively.
