Effects of PEEP adjustment on CVP and ICP in the responder and non-responder groups. Adjustment of PEEP from 3 to 15 cmH2O increased CVP significantly in both groups (a). There was no significantly difference in CVP increment (ΔCVP) between the responder and non-responder groups (b). A significant ICP increase was observed in the responder group with PEEP tuned up from 3 cmH2O to 15 mmHg, and no change was found in the non-responder group (c).
