The distribution of mRS scores stratified by (A) TBIL, B DBIL, and C IBIL levels. mRS score ranges from 0 to 6, with 0 indicating no symptoms, 1 no clinically disability, 2 slight disability, 3 moderate disability, 4 moderately severe disability, 5 severe disability and 6 death. In the multivariable ordinal logistic regression, we adjusted for age, sex, history of diabetes, atrial fibrillation/flutter, smoking status, stroke subtype, hypoglycemic agents, antiplatelet agents, baseline National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score, total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglyceride, high sensitivity C-reactive protein, alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase
