Predictive ability with respect to combination model for poor 90-day prognosis after acute supratentorial intracerebral hemorrhage. Predictive ability of serum mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor levels for poor 90-day prognosis was similar to those of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale scores and hematoma volume (both P>0.05). Serum mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor levels combined with National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale scores and hematoma volume showed significantly higher predictive capability than National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale scores and hematoma volume alone (bothP>0.05).
