The measurement data were expressed by mean ± standard deviation or number of cases. Fisher’s exact test was employed for the comparative analysis of categorical variables. One-way ANOVA was applied for data comparisons among groups of continuous variables, followed by Tukey’s multiple comparisons test was used for the post test. P < 0.05 was indicative of statistical significance. Pa: the moderate group compared with the mild group; Pb: the severe group compared with the mild group; Pc: the severe group compared with the moderate group; Pd: the mild group compared with the Non-AD group; Pe: the moderate group compared with the Non-AD group; Pf: the severe group compared with the Non-AD group
