T2/Flair showed hyperintensities mostly involving the temporal lobe, parietal lobe, and basal ganglia area in patient 3 (C). Diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) showed hyperintensities involving the temporal and occipital cortex in patient 6 (F); DWI showed symmetrical hyperintensities in the bilateral temporal and insular cortex in patient 7 (G); and T2/flair showed swelling of the right hippocampus in patient 8 (H)
